[23.04.2017, g. 15:00] It was sung during November and January Uprisings, Polish expats of Great Migration peformed it, it was heard during Revolution of 1905 and the Great War. `Dąbrowski`s Mazurka. Composed 220 years ago, it was officially acknowledged as Poland`s national anthem 90 years ago. To commemorate the occasion, Museum of Gentry in Dobrzyca prepared an exhibition devoted to the author of the piece: Józef Wybicki.
[od 28.04.2017 do 30.04.2017] At the last weekend of April, crowds of fantasy and science-fiction lovers will visit Poznań`s International Fair grounds. They will flock from all around Poland to take part in "Pyrkon" festival, to get away, if only for a moment, from everyday life and succumb to the madness of computer and board games. On Saturday, 22 April, it will be presented by Sönke Meinen, Trevor Gordon Hall and Bartosz Grzanek - the guests of the seventh edition of Fingerstyle Feeling Festival. The feast of acoustic guitar will be held at Centre of Culture and Art in Kalisz.

In the course of this year`s edition, viewers will see as many as 16 plays. Among others, theatre groups from Poznań, Wągrowiec, Gostyń and Turek will perform on stage of Culture Centre in Suchy Las .First shows are to be presented on 21 April.

We only ever pause for a moment when it happens next to us. The exhibition of old photographs, at Pix.house gallery, captures death and mourning in a lens of a camera. It`s worth spending some time with them.
[04.04.2017, g. 18:00] Could poetry be used as a first-aid kit? How exactly would it help? The answer to the questions is to be found at a meeting with Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało, Radosław Kobierski and Jacek Gutorow. On 4 April, at CK Zamek, the authors will be promoting their latest collections of poetry, published by Regional Public Library and Culture Animation Centre.

[06.04.2017, g. 18:00] "Hommage to Requiem by Roman Maciejewski" is one of the most relevant projects of Czesław Dźwigaj of recent years. The inspiration for the cycle of 30 paintings, 38 drawings and 18 sculptures was "Missa pro defunctis. Requiem" by the eminent Polish composer, pianist and conductor, Roman Maciejewski. The exhibition will be presented at Municipal Culture Centre in Gniezno.
[od 31.03.2017 do 02.04.2017] More than a thousand people from all over Poland will come to Mosina to a guitar festival. There will be exhibitions, concerts and workshops. The latter, this year, will by run by a Colombian guitarist Carlos Ramirez, Łukasz Gorczyca and an Australian bluesman Rob Tognoni. Among other bands, Strachy na Lachy and Saxofresh featuring Kasia Kowalska will perform. The event opens on 31 March.
